First things first: this lake is an absolute weed mess currently. I found it hard to navigate even in the deepest parts due to the submerged vegetation and dead weeds on top. Due to this the go-to was the frog and i had some luck fishing the 5-8ft range with it. I mainly used the color white but i would recommend switching around colors during the day. I would say avoid fishing the island in front of the east boat launch. It’s heavily fished by other people and you’ll probably have more luck making a run either north or more east from there. Texas rig also worked too. It’ll be hard to use anything not completely weedless in this lake if you want to get where the fish are at.
