Fishing is really good in front of the grass with a 1/4oz Crockogator Shakey head. Also caught a big one on a glide bait. Fun weekend of fishing despite all the recreational boat traffic.

Toads got crushed all morning. Fished in coves along mats and heavy grass adjacent to deeper water. Used a yum finger wacky rig as a follow up and caught a few more after they missed the toad. I imagine a walking/popping frog would’ve worked well too, but covering water was a priority and toads are a presentation which they aren’t used to. Biggest was a bit under 2 pounds
