Awesome time of year to fish kinkaid. These fish are mostly in post spawn phase and I love this time of year when they get in front of that grass line. If you can find the clumps of grass where the grass starts fading the post spawners like to post up and ambush bait traveling by. My main focus is points and water depth 15-18ft. My go to bait is the COG Swamp Swimmer on a 1/4oz Shakey head but this past weekend they preferred it on a Texas rig swimming it. Saw several fish come out of the grass to eat it.
