TechniqueStructure JigsSeasonFallStructureSubmerged VegetationMid-day fishing was good on Town Lake (AKA Ladybird Lake). Bass are holding tight to cover and ambushing baitfish. Pitching and flipping into submerged vegetation and skipping jigs under low hanging trees was effective. Water clarity was about 5-6ft, so black and blue or junebug colored baits worked well. In clearer water by the Barton creek mouth, watermelon red and green pumpkin proved more effective.
