Fish anywhere near the weeds, you can usually see them swimming around. The ned, senko, and marabou jig all seemed to catch about the same number of fish, but the marabou seemed to catch the bigger fish. You can also hit the boulders as you're coming into Halverson, there's usually a few fish sitting there. If you're staying on the main island, you can find some smallies in the bay behind it, which is good for those windy days.

For the Kastmasters both 1/2oz and 3/4oz worked, only upsized due to wind. I've brought a whole box of different bait up my past 2 trips, but these are the only ones you really need.
