This lake is spring fed so the water is typically very clear and there are some deep holes and some good weeds/grass that come out to about 6-7 feet of water. I focused on the weedlines and getting dialed with the wacky rig. I used a 5” Senko (green pumpkin with chartreuse tail) on a weedless hook. The VMC crossover rings really saved my baits and I was able to get 6 or 7 fish on each worm. No big fish today, nothing over 2 pounds, most of them were around a pound. This is a fun lake with hungry and willing fish, perfect for working on a new technique.
