Largemouth BassTechniqueWacky RigsSeasonFallStructureLaydownsFished from 5:00pm to 8:30pm on the lower end of the lake. Caught around 10 mostly throwing a PB&J Senko wacky rigged up against the laydowns and walls. Caught the biggest at the end of the night on a junebug weighted Texas rig.

Frog cast to edge of shore around cover. 5 pounder hit it almost immediately.

Big bass were in the creeks and getting ready to bed. I caught several nice fish skipping a weightless Zoom trick worm I to shallow brush and rocks. Don't let the small size of the Gamakatsu wacky hook fool you. I set the hook hard on rarely loose a fish. The bigger fish were a subtle bite. You'd have to watch your line closely as they would swim off and you would see your line move as opposed to feeling a bite. Most fish were caught between 2-5'. Fish well!
