Worked Zoom Trick worm California 420 Texas rigged working reeds and grass. This worm is the ticket. Used them along the dam as well and caught fish. This worm also works well on on Decker Lake in Austin. My fishing partner and I caut around twenty five bass in four hours. 6:30 am till 10:30 am

I used the the Rapala Freeloader. It is a 4.25" jerk bait style lure that has ribs and a really pointy tail. I did not experience any blue gills but I would think they would bite the tail right off pretty regularly if you are fishing around them a lot. I fished the the same bait all day and it held up great. The Jig Head is a VMC Hybrid Swim bait Jig Head in 3/16 oz. You have to spin the bait onto the keeper but it worked great.
