TechniqueVertical Jigging Mid Depth (10-19')SeasonSummerStructurePointsWater starting to cool off so the walleyes start pushing shallower. Catch most of mine out here in around 11 feet on sand flats. I just cast around with these snap jigs and work them aggresivley back to the boat. I catch a bunch of them doing this. And they don't seem to care about the weather. Falt calm and sunny or blowing 3 footers it doesnt seem to matter.

Walleye
TechniqueTrolling Mid Depth (10-19')SeasonFallStructureReefThe walleye fishing on Lake Bemidji is exceptional. As September progresses, the walleye bite remains strong. Water temperatures are around 62-65°F, causing walleye to move closer to shore. Live bait and crankbaits have both been effective. Prime locations include the northern shoreline, rocky points, sunken islands, and weed beds. Pay close attention to the wind and weather conditions.
