This sucker slayed. Caught probably 9 fish on the same soft plastic and it still held up. They were really hitting on the fall, giving it little twitches while it was falling. Got it done!

This thing is killer, it’s such a light wire and bait, it cuts straight through the grass. And gets deep close to the bottom and really gets the fish’s attention. It’s getting it done for sure!

Strong winds were blowing on this rocky point and while reaction baits got a few bites, dragging a jig through the bouldeds seemed to be the most effective technique and yeilded the biggest bites.

Fish were very active today and chasing very small bait. While the smaller fish would eat a jerkbait very aggressively, it seemed like the bigger ones preferred a crankbait digging into the bottom. Pitching at sight fish was effective as well.
