Early morning shad spawn bite was on fire. Shut down by 9am and the bite got tougher. Key was to move everything as fast as you could.

Solid day at Lake Buchanan. Finished 2nd in a FOM tournament. Shad were everywhere and it was difficult to get the bass associated with them to hit much of anything but had some success throwing a 3.8 Keitech at them. Most of our fish came in throwing at stickups in about 3-7 feet of water with either a shakey head or a Texas rigged man bear pig in green pumpkin.
