Found the trick has been to burn it as fast as you can. Going up in line size a little sure helps when reeling it fast in heavy cover.

TechniqueTexas Rigs (Pitch/Flip)SeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructureFlooded BrushSolid day at Lake Buchanan. Finished 2nd in a FOM tournament. Shad were everywhere and it was difficult to get the bass associated with them to hit much of anything but had some success throwing a 3.8 Keitech at them. Most of our fish came in throwing at stickups in about 3-7 feet of water with either a shakey head or a Texas rigged man bear pig in green pumpkin.
