Fishing a point with drop off to a deep channel I caught over a dozen smallmouths and a couple of largemouths using medium diving crank baits, jerk baits and a drop shot using moderately slow retrieves with pauses. Most fish hit on the pause, the drop shot fish went for a slow drag with an occasional small hop
