TechniqueDrop ShotSeasonSpring (Spawn)StructureOpen Water/BasinSeason opener on Champlain!! Fished the central section of the lake and found a majority of the day’s limit still on beds. Not my preferred way to catch them but a win is a win! The drop shot seemed to put them in the net the quickest today. 10-12” leader 3/16oz woo tungsten with the Zman trickshotZ in white lightning for visibility just hovering over the bed was irresistible. I could toss a tube or ned and catch them too but it would be cast upon cast before they would commit. They would hit the drop shot on the first try if it was where it needed to be!
