Largemouth BassTechniqueNed RigsSeasonSummerStructureBouldersLake Delton is primarily a recreational lake so if you are going during the summer and tourist season you are going to have to make sure that you are fishing in the early morning 5am to 11am or evening 6pm to 9pm or you will get run off the lake by jet skis and recreational boaters. We had a lot of success targeting smallmouth bass with the ned rig. In a 3 day trip we caught over 150 smallmouth. We targeted the rocky damn wall as well as rock walls on the northwest corner of the lake. If you haven't tried a ned rig for small mouth definitely give it a go. Ned Rig - 1/4 oz (which was probably too heavy but it is what I had) Lure - senko cut in half or googan rattlin ned peanut butter and jelly

I was fishing a lindy rig off the bottom with a minnow on it and a nice northern pike slammed it. Also caught them on a fire tiger floating rapala or floating perch rapala.
