We had a good day the other day at lake eufaula Alabama. Using the 7.5” culprit original worm in tequila shad as well as plumb apple around lay downs produced the best bites. Using a square bill and spinner bait around rip raff and lay downs will definitely get you bit as well 👍

So we fished the MLF BFL Regional on the one and only... Lake Eufala!!! Wasn't super excited to be back here as this fishery can be a VERY tough place to land... Last trip here we were out way deep but this tourney I couldn't really get comfortable in the "depths". I wound up staying shallow and fishing around the mats of grass located in the backs of creeks. I would parallel the mats and fish buzzbaits and even a popper alongside the mats and take advantage of fish that were set up under the mats ready to come blowing out and chase a bait... We caught the biggest fish of the entire tourney at 7.6 pounds... ON A POPPER!!!! It was awesome! Feel free to reach out with any and all questions!
