Working a structure jig through lay downs and submerged timber produced the biggest bites for us in and around grass creek which is just south of Florence Marina. Although a buzz bait also is sure to get you bit as well. A 7.5ā junebug culprit worm around grass lines and lay downs also produces several fish.

I found some fish in the grass working a popping frog out of it. It didnāt get many bites but put a few of the good ones in the boat. Fish were still on lay downs and if you threw a buzz bait around them they would come out and get it.
