Several spotted bass were spitting out crawfish 🦞 and I used the Missle baits magic worm on a dropshot.

My Grandpa ("Papa") and I didn't catch anything at Lake Gaston Day Use Area, but we still enjoyed the time and memories made while fishing from the pier there. I believe this area may be good for catching bream in the Spring when they are bedding. With that being said, Lake Gaston is indeed a good sized lake with plenty of fish. Local anglers can probably point you to some good spots if they are willing to tell you. Haha. Thanks and have a blessed time!!!!

Could see schools of 5-8 largemouth cruising the bank searching for bluegills up shallow. Threw the weightless senko texas rigged in front of them and they picked it up off the bottom.
