Fish were taking the worm very lightly. I would throw it out and allow it to sink to the bottom of the lake and not move or shake it for 8-10 seconds and then only shake the line and not allow the worm to move very far, kind of vibrate it. Then move it 8- 10 inches and vibrate again and stopping. Sometimes the bite was hard to detect and most of the time they would pick up the worm and start moving off with it. Always set the hook with a straight up motion and not sideways. Pitching along the Kissimmee grass in 3'-4' and off the edge of the hydrilla.
