Smallmouth up on beds. Look for dark spots in 2-8 ft of water. Z-man Ned rigs work great. Any bright color to help you see them pick it up will work. 6-8lb flouro leaders!

Beds right in the channel between boats and by the docks. Shimano mastiff in 8lb leader was near invisible. Soft touch too. My new favorite line. Use any visible color of z nan ticklers . Pink was good. Nice chunky smallmouth. Almost 4 lbs.

Spots in Thompson bay. Lots of beds. This new mastiff flouro by shimano is great. Cast easy and abrasion resistant. Used the crush city Ned in white. Easier to see when the bass pick it up.
