Caught fish in back of cuts throwing Bladed jig in shade line also caught a couple fish on with a Neko rig overall I would rate it tough

Immediately went to the back of some coves and just as the sun started peaking out, we got in on some smallmouth and largemouth topwater action on the whopper plopper. They were situated mainly near some rocky shores that had some submerged vegetation on it as well. That bite died off after a bit and I was able to cover water with a Spro Aruku Shad full size in Red Crawfish fished fast and ripped through grass and got a few. A 3.8" keitech on an underspin head also worked well to get some bites too.

I recently fished the Major League Fishing Big5 Toyota Series event out at Lake Havasu. I managed a solid bag of fish to put me in 16th on day one. I had two good largemouth on a the chatterbait with homemade zako style trailer. I also had two good smallmouth on jigs. A swing head football jig with a 6th Sense Stroker craw was also a player. I was fishing stepper banks with larger rock. I didn't get a lot of bites, but the bites I did get were quality.
