I recently fished the Major League Fishing Big5 Toyota Series event out at Lake Havasu. I managed a solid bag of fish to put me in 16th on day one. I had two good largemouth on a the chatterbait with homemade zako style trailer. I also had two good smallmouth on jigs. A swing head football jig with a 6th Sense Stroker craw was also a player. I was fishing stepper banks with larger rock. I didn't get a lot of bites, but the bites I did get were quality.

In late Septmeber I fished the Major League Fishing Big5 Toyota Series event on Lake Havasu. Overall the fishing was really tough, but big bags were caught fishing the grass in the 15' range on crankbaits! This 15' zone is always a good depth to target on Lake Havasu no matter the time of year, especially when the wind blows!
