Largemouth bass can be found on Middle Jefferson, especially this low water year. The bass are on sand and around laydowns. Use a 1/2oz spinner bait, chatter bait or big jig. Anything that resembles bluegill tends to get the big bits.

The bass spawn was on over Memorial Day weekend with the bigger fish related to the shallow spawning flats on inside weed edges close to gravel, rocks, and boulders. The bigger fish came on a wacky senko on green pumpkin with red flake and got several also on the green fish swim jig in a bluegill imitation and a Keitech 4 inch bluegill flash trailer. Several smaller fish were caught on a wake bait and also whopper plopper70 in bone.
