Fished Kab from 6/7 through 6/11. Water temps ranged from 65 to 74 degrees. Walleyes were everywhere from 2' out to 30'+. Finding biting fish was tough. Mayflies and leeches were plentiful so getting them to chase/bite your presenation was difficult. Loud & vibrant crankbaits worked best, with bobber & leeches also catching some fish.

Tough smallmouth bite. Fished Kabetogama from 6/7 through 6/11. Water temps started out at 70 degrees, creeped up to 74 degrees, then a cold front moved in and knocked the water temps down to 65 degrees. The most successful technique was cranking squarebills over shallow rocks near islands. Topwater poppers worked well at times. I believe the key was to make noise, vibration or use bright colors due to low water clarity.
