find the wind blown shorelines and points in the spring, a 1/8 oz jig tipped with a fathead or shiner minnow is a killer bait. After the walleyes spawn they will pull out into deep water and rest for a few days and then they will have the feed bags on. find the wind blown shorelines and points use your electronics to locate the fish and pitch or vertical jig for them, normally fish 1'-15' of water. I like to use 10 lb braid as my mainline and a length of 6-8lb test mono about 3'-5' long tied to the braid or a small barrel swivel to join them together. If you are having short strikes use a stinger hook, just clip it on and stick the hook in the tail of the minnow. Good Luck.

Look for wind blown shorelines and structure, watch your electronics for fish. Troll about 1/2 mph. Use leaches, crawlers and minnows. If using a crawler use the worm blower to give it a puff of air that will keep it of the bottom. When you feel the bite release your line and feed it to them to a count of 10 and reel back to the fish slow tell you feel the fish and set the hook.
