Placed 3rd in a small club tournament on Kegonsa. Fish seemed to be in all three stages of the spawn with beds and roaming bass all over the lake. Most of our fish were caught using swim-baits around staging areas.

With the wind blowing over 20mph I went up the Yahara river, once you pass that bridge there are two trees in the water. Stayed there all day catching some nice largemouth with plastic and spinner baits around that area.

The chatterbait proved productive again. This will probably be the last time fishing this area until next April. The submergent vegetation will become emergent vegetation soon, making navigation difficult.

Fishing around hard cover produced some really great LM bass. Texas rigged Senko on a Mustad hook pinned them all!

Caught a ton of spawning fish today. They were all tight to cover. The drop shot with the Hazedong shad was key to get those Finicky largies to bite. Not main lake had to travel into the Yahara to get bites.

Largemouth are around rock right now making beds and getting ready to spawn. Feedbag is on and they are munching on a Senko!
