What a stud of a fish! Caught this one swim jogging a weed flat in 3-5 foot of water. Pulled it right out of a weed patch and she hammered it. 4.77 lbs and won me big bass for the night.

Fished the river and the large, grassy flat outside of the river in Kegonsa. The buzzbait was working over submerged grass, right next to matted grass in the river. Out in the large grassy flat, the chatterbait was working. Fished mostly in 6 to 10 foot of water. The bass were very spread out. I recommend drifting across the entire area and fan casting.

I picked up some smaller fish dinking and dunking a Texas rig Rage Craw in milfoil/eel grass clumps. Overall a fun day but as always Kegonsa left more to be desired!

Found multi species around these areas including Smallies, largemouth and gills. Only had one rod so spent the day dropshotting with a zman shotz in the color deal. Fish seem to be targeting bait balls. A-rig would have been ideal but didn't have it with me.
