Jigging off the bottom in the north end of lake Lanier in about 15 feet of water using a zoom super fluke Arkansas shiner on a Berkeley, 1/4 ounce jig head in white. Paint the gill plates red, they really like that. Caught them until I ran out of bait. Zoom flukes last about two fish on a jig head.

Bass were bedding shallow. Look for lighter areas and first cast in and around those areas to optimal results.

Was fishing around docks and hooked a few on the drop shot. No giants but great day on the water.

Wind was blowing around 5 mph. Throwing around over hanging trees, blown down trees and around large boulders. Was tough after the spawn. All reaction bait would only get followers. Slowed down and threw the wacky with a little weight to it.
