Bigger crappies seemed to be shallower in the weeds roaming flats next to deep water areas. small movements of the tungsten jog or getting aggressive with the pinhead was key. There was not really an in between. Bigger schools were in deeper basins or funnels. smaller in size but more numbers.

Largemouth BassTechniqueStructure JigsSeasonFallStructureDocksWater temp has been steady but a front was moving in as I got to the lake. Fish were heavy on docks. Getting way up under platforms and boat lifts was key. In between docks in the matter up grass there was also some fish to be had, although the quality wasnt as good. Buzz bait was the key in between docks. Eventually moving out from the dock torward the evening i ventured to a 4-6ft cabbage flat. Threw the buzz bait over top and the fish were crushing it!

Largemouth BassTechniqueFrogs/ToadsSeasonFallStructureLily PadsFrogging and flipping shallow grass and pads was the deal for us over the weekend. Seemed like isolated patches of pads mixed in with grass near deep water got the best bites. Most of our fish came in less than 2 ft of water. Hot baits where scum frog launch frogs in white and missile baits d bomb in bruiser flash

Largemouth BassTechniqueBuzzbaitsSeasonFallStructureReedsThe bass were on the chew last night! Overcast and calm conditions made for a fun Buzz bait bite. Fish were anywhere from 6 ft in submerged vegitation, all the way up into the reeds in 1-3ft. Fish were heavy in the reeds as well throwing a sweet beaver on a 3/8oz Texas rig. Swim jig and Buzz bait to cover water in between reed patches. caught equal amounts of fish on all baits best quality seemed to come off of the Buzz bait and Texas rig.

Largemouth BassTechniqueGrass JigsSeasonFallStructureSubmerged VegetationFished on top of flats where there is good cabbage patches. With the cold week fish were starting to move more into the cover.
