Bigger crappies seemed to be shallower in the weeds roaming flats next to deep water areas. small movements of the tungsten jog or getting aggressive with the pinhead was key. There was not really an in between. Bigger schools were in deeper basins or funnels. smaller in size but more numbers.

Fish were staging for spawn around docks and weed flats. The neko was a great choice for picking off the big ones getting ready to spawn.

Lake le homme dieu is part of the alexandria chain of lakes. I found numbers of fish on the channels between geneva and le homme deiu. There was a decent amount of current undeer the channel so was pitching my powerbait emerald shiner of a vmc spinshot right in the current. Caught 12 1-2 lbers in 30 mins.
