Key areas had baseball sized rock with some form of wood (brush or stumps). Early in the day, my bigger bites came on the Chick Magnet Jr. I was able to add a couple bites late in the day flipping the Smallie Beaver and working it slowly.

Loramie always has dark water with <2’ visibility but at this time some areas are significantly more stained than that. The areas with the better visibility produced more for me. Key areas were rocky banks with wood mixed in, and more productive areas had deeper water close by. I had more bites on the Chick Magnet Jr, but a couple bigger fish hit the square bill. Caught one small keeper on the Jackhammer. Despite the water temperature, it appeared the fish were still in prespawn Period.
