So started out in less then a foot of water punching weed mats when the water temps were in the 60s. Then the water temps dropped to the lower 50s and the big bass moved to the 4 foot reeds on the north side of the lake. When the wind was blowing throwing spinner baits worked really well. Then it laid flat and slowly dragging a 3/4oz jig was getting the big bites. Caught some 18”-19” bass. Just remember the water temps dropped they moved out. So when the temps go back up they will move in shallow. Using have casting rods worked great.
