Caught lots of smallmouth on walking baits on rocky shorlines with docks. They were tucked right up tight to the dock and would come out to eat the bait.

My partner and I had a tournament out there recently and we did fairly well! It was our first time ever fishing the lake and we approached it by fishing the deep weed lines and deep weeds in general. I fished a ned rig and a walking bait. My partner fished, a Texas rigged worm and creature bait. We moved very slow and made a conscious effort to pick everything apart and to rip our baits out of the weeds to trigger bites.
