I fished 6:30am-1:30pm and while I was able to catch bass on multiple techniques, I did not find a consistent pattern. Topwater with the whopper plopper got me a few bites in the early morning, along with the Yamatanuki and drop shotting multiple soft plastics. The drop shot seemed to catch the most pike as well.The morning bite got interrupted by wind/rain and after that it was a grind. My bigger fish came in the afternoon with the Dark Sleeper, fishing where the weedy flats began to drop off(10-15ft range).
