Northern Pike
TechniqueSpinnerbaitsSeasonSpring (Spawn)StructureReedsNo bass to be found. Lots of small pike, some were perfect size to keep (22-23 inches), had we chose to. I tried various baits, but my son caught most on a pink #5 Mepps muskie killer.

Largemouth Bass
TechniqueTexas Rigs (Pitch/Flip)SeasonSummerStructureReedsFlipping the reeds and cane on the lake produced nice fish throughout the day. When the flipping bite slowed a wacky rig on the docks also produced fish.

TechniqueTexas Rigs (Pitch/Flip)SeasonFallStructureReedsPitching and flipping in pencil reeds produced the most fish. Black/blue seemed to be the best color, definitely got bit more than green pumpkin or brown.
- Species
Panfish / Bluegill
TechniqueIce Fishing SpoonsSeasonIceStructureHumpsSlow day fishing for sunnies. Probably because we caught 15 pike. 10 foot of water off a point with a red Lindy spoon. Caught a few big sunnies but was very slow. All I know is I'm ready for this ice to melt!
- Species
Panfish / Bluegill
TechniqueIce Fishing JigsSeasonIceStructurePointsMy girlfriend and I caught some sunnies today out on Minnewawa. Fishing 8-10 feet of water off a shallow sloping point. Didn't matter the color of the jig as long as it had a crappie nibble on it. Sunnies were suspended in 4-6 feet and caught a few crappies as well.

TechniqueIce Fishing JigsSeasonIceStructureOpen Water/BasinCaught fish on the pinhead pro in red glow. Solid ice but still spring ice (soft 6-8 inches). Caught fish in 8-12 feet of water. Took a lot of enticing to get them to eat
