Fish are moving back in the spawning coves, and also staging on secondary points. They are really finnicky in the clear water, long casts, light line, finesse 3" baits are the way to go.

Fished the Cottowood area slow tapered points with softball size rock. Try different retrieves of the jig .

Post spawn aggressive fish moving into summer patterns. Topwater is working well in the backs of the coves in low light conditions. Finesse tactics are best in the crystal clear water.

The fishing was overall tough with a stiff cold North wind. Caught a couple on football jigs with Yamamoto Hula Grubs Stayed in the Cottonwood area
