Casting next to the lay downs on the bank was the most consistent bite. The water is pretty dirty with only a few inches of visibility, so a darker trailer helped the bait stand out. Managed a good number of 1-2lb fish.

I started the day catching a few 2lbers on a Spook. I then moved off shore with a 10' crank and picked up a few more fish. I was able to find a school and was catching 2-3lbers just about every cast with a drop shot. My biggest with the DS was right at 4lbs. I did manage to find a 5lber flipping a Bronco Bug. It was a great 4th on the water!!

Square bill bite is on fire. Bigger fish are a little deeper and on laydowns.

Bass are cruising the shallows. The water clarity is minimal which makes it tough to see fish on beds but it seems like some are starting to settle in on beds. I caught a few smaller fish on a chatterbait as well.
