Fished a wacky senko on the docks in between ramps, picked a few good ones that way too. Water started at 58 degrees in the morning ended up at 64 by end of day.

Caught good numbers of fish in bank grass around the sides and backs of pockets on a swim jig. I was throwing the fluke more so on long main lake points to catch a few better quality fish in the afternoons

Bass are on beds at lake Murray. Cruise the bank and look for spawners that can easily be caught with the new Gilly from Berkeley.

Post spawn- early summer fish a crankbait on the humps that come up shallow. Everyone else will be throwing topwater but the crankbait will catch just as many if not more.

Just about anywhere you pick on this lake, they’ll eat the glide. I hade some violent strikes in the mid lake area. The bass seem to always hate the glides during that post spawn period. Long casts, and then just watch them show themselves. Once they start chasing, speed up your retrieve and that’s when they’d crush it!
