Bass have been biting great on football jigs and shakeyheads off main lake points. There is also a good top water bite early on a popping bait and frog.

I caught every fish offshore (what I consider to be more than a cast away from the bank) between 10 and 16 feet of water. every on of them came from either a point or offshore hump.

Saturday I caught a 4lbr in less than a foot of water on an Untamed Tackle swim jig. Sunday I had a 3.5 miss my Bubble Gum Zoom Super Fluke and later i think it took the tail off my swim jig. Saturday I finished 10th and Sunday 4th good enough for 3rd in points after 2 days on the water.
