These northern largies eat the glidebaits, too! Just working the S-Waver 168 parallel to an outside weed edge in about 15’ of water. If you ever watch TacticalBassin, a good retrieve for this lure is 4 handle turns, twitch rod 2x, then repeat and repeat.

Warm and sunny day (~90) with heavy recreational boaters out. Vegetation (lily pads and milfoil) was thick and can range anywhere from 2' to 30' from shore depending on the lake. We probably would've done better with some frogs...but, of course; we didn't bring any this day! Wife had some luck with some wacky rigs (with a weed guard) while I found some success with dropshotting rigged weedless style. For drop shot, there were more bites on the longer 4" - 6" baits today than the standard 2" - 3.5" ones. Bluegills were bedding along shore and bass were often within the weeds and/or not far away.
