With the water finally cooling down, the topwater bite is heating up. This past week I have been catching fish extremely shallow on the Crock-O-Gator Head Knocker buzzbait. These bass are relating to riprap and large rock, especially behind docks. I am targeting main lake banks to about halfway back in the coves. This bite should continue to get better through the fall!

Just crank normal pace using revo STX 7.1-1 . Let the bait drop to about 6 ft and crank . Pause occasionally . I found they hit when you pause it .
