First we’re super shallow off main lake channels swings, Bluff ends and small pockets. Bite is super tough so it’s anyone’s game but as always in the fall topwater on LoZ can produce some “Gator” size fish.

We were fishing docks and I looked out and saw a ton of fish busting on shad. So I threw my lipless out there and this is how he ate it. You really just had to find where the bait was and then you would find the bass. It was also hard to find a school where they were so keyed in on bait that they wouldn't eat your lure.

shady side of docks and in front of docks produce tons of small bass largemouth and spotted bass.

Fish are relating close to the main lake still, there are fish a lot of places, but the most active ones seemed closer to the main lake. Look for big creeks and fish the first two or three cuts or dock stretches. Fish the front of the docks during high sun and post front conditions, and if clouds or rain moves in, fish the back of the docks. Fishing a structure jig is a great way to catch these fish. A little blue flake seems to be helping right now.
