On windy channel swing banks the crank bait and Alabama rig were both effective in triggering a reaction strike. The bass were caught in less than 10' of water with deep water access nearby. On cloudy days the bass preferred solid colored crank baits while on the sunny days prefer translucent colored crank baits. The bass seemed to relate to points and rock transition banks.

Rip Rap
I know it's winter, but the water temp was 49 - 50 degrees. I got on this weird flipping bite. GP tube on channel swing banks with rip rap and brushpiles behind docks; all in 3 - 8 feet of water.
