That time of year! Find bait and find the fish, chatter was my primary search bait (or walking topwater) going down the bank looking for active fish. Lots of dead water this time of year so make sure you keep moving, then slow down after you’ve located a school of fish!

It’s a little early but temps dropped to 48 degrees over night and the only way to get bit was super long pauses with the jerkbaits! So early morning or when the bite is slow don’t be afraid to grab something slow with pauses like a jerkbait in the late fall!
