A quick 45 minute trip to Lake Rooty resulted in 3 LMB weighing 2.6#, 2.0# and 1.8#. All three fish were caught on a wacky rig, we did try throwing a chatterbait for awhile with no luck.

Threw a 3/8oz Strike King Hack Attack Heavy Cover Sexy Shad Swim Jig this afternoon with a Shad color boot tail trailer, caught 4 good sized LMB in less than an hour. The body of water I was fishing is 3-5 feet deep, so I would count the jig down to 3 and retrieve at a moderate speed, pausing the retrieve slightly when the fish made initial contact.
