Slow dragging a Carolina rig in 15 feet of water near the dam. Also caught 5 or so fish on Texas rigged Gambler burner worms in June bug color in Lilly pads in the river channel near Dunnellon.

Randomly caught fish on lots of different types of cover but mostly submerged stumps, the chatter bait caught them as well as square bill crank baits.

make long casts to 8 feet of water with hydrilla in 5 to 6 feet work it down till you feel the grass then rip it through with jerks. Also go real skinny in about 1-2 feet with matted grass work a Gambler flappin shad in water melon red on top real fast to open water.

School of fish suspended amongst fields of standing timber. We used the jerkbait to help locate schools of fish so we could slow down and pick them apart. Ended up with a little over 15 lbs which was good enough for 2nd.

We were throwing small jerkbaits above hydrilla lines to imitate the forage this time of year. The bit seemed to turn on later in the day once the wind began to pick up. This technique helped us place second at our tournament

Caught multiple 2-3lb bass cranking squarebill along weed lines in 2-3 ft water adjacent to the river channel.

Fished the edges of current, breaks, and weed edges with the xrap. Consistent action from 6:30am - 10:30am and then the bite slowed. Fished the same areas but turned to a slow finesse Mustad Apex and Roboworm to catch a few more that were not committing to a reaction bait. Best for the day was the bass in the photo at almost 22” and 5.5# and a friend got a 24” - 7.5# fishing a husky jerk doing the same
