TechniqueBladed JigsSeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationHot windy and partly cloudy day. Better size bass in only 6-7 ft of water as the stain to this lake keeps weed from growing very deep. Casting a bladed jig and retrieving parallel to shore ticking the weeds was the way to go.

TechniqueFootball JigsSeasonSummerStructureRock PileCaught a pipe of 3-3.5lbs largemouth fishing rock piles in about 10-15ft of water. Dragging and hopping the riot baits Lil creeper was the deal. But once the bite slowed down I would follow it up with a dinner on a ned head dragging slow for a few extra bites

TechniqueNed RigsSeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationWas out fishing in a derby on Lake Sarah (07/31). We found the water clarity right now is very low and the water is green. Most of the weedlines we found would only go out to the 4-6 ft of water. We caught most of our fish throwing Ned rigs along weedlines in 4-5 ft and also steeper banks off the weedlines we found some too. Found the best luck in the patchy weeds and didn’t find fish where there was a thicker solid weedline. Lake Sarah is a fun lake to fish, as we were able to get onto some nice fish throughout the day.

Make sure to work your way around to the front/shore side of docked boats.
