Largemouth BassTechniqueMedium Diving Crankbaits (7'-12')SeasonFallStructureLaydownsThis was an overcast day with light to moderate chop on the water. Air temp was 76 and water visibility was about 3 ft. We fished standing timber and lay downs in 0–15 ft and had to find shad to be successful. We caught fish on a skeet reese rod with a KVD quantum spooled with 15 lb power pro super slick to Seaguar 15 lb fluoro using mid depth crankbait with a fast retrieve. Fish were also caught with Veritas rod with a Lews speed spool reel and 20 lb power pro super slick to 15 lb fluoro and a Strike King sexy shad crankbait.

CrappieTechniqueVertical Jigging Mid Depth (10-19')SeasonSpring (Pre-Spawn)StructureStumpsThe cold streaks and rains have the crappie offshore and the bite is slow. The water is 57 so I expect they will be moving up shortly. Each morning was able to get about 15 in the boat with small tubes and shad spikes at about 16-18 feet.

Largemouth BassTechniqueShallow Diving Crankbaits (0-6')SeasonSummerStructureRock PileState finals! We thought we had it all maped pit after practice with carolina rigs but then on day 1 we only caught a catfish. So for day 2 we switched it up because we were seeing lots of shad and caught our 4 dinks on a square bill. Hard tournament for us, lots of lessons learned, but overall we were just happy to be there. Cant wait to do it again next year and this time we know what to do.
