TechniqueSpinnerbaitsSeasonSummerStructureRip RapWater temps dropped a few degrees and the water was clear on the lower end of the lake near the dam. Fishing was tough with the holiday traffic and wind but a 1/2 oz spinnerbait in a shad color put numbers in the boat. Wind blown points with rock were holding numbers with the dam rip rap producing our biggest fish. Megabass P5 dark sleeper rod paired with a daiwa zillion sv tw has been a phenominal combo for spinnerbaits and the sleeper craw this spring.

TechniqueTexas Rigs (Worming)SeasonSummerStructureMatted GrassDragging a big worm is a staple on Sinclair. Junebug or green pumpkin are the colors you need. Summer time frogging is also a great way to get big bites. Mid strolling and weightless senko’s are finesse ways that consistently catch this time of year.

TechniqueTexas Rigs (Worming)SeasonSummerStructureLaydownsJune 25, 2022. Water temp mid 80’s with a light stain. Dragging a big worm through lay owns or outside structure can produce big bites all summer long. Look for structure 10-20ft out in front of docks near a creek channel. The shade of the dock is obvious to all anglers but the deeper structure is often over looked.
