Caught 30 -40 in 4 hours with one bumping the 20” range and several in the 17-19” range. Fun morning on the river. Still have some openings in January and February and it’s a great time to be on the water. SoMo Fish Co 417-838-3122

TroutTechniqueBobbersSeasonFallStructureRock PileFind rocks creating current breaks. The more current pulling the better it is. Using a variety of soft baits and letting them drift with the current. Use very light weights or no weight at all. The natural slow fall of the bait will produce a lot of bites.

TroutTechniqueFinesse Hair JigsSeasonWinterStructureRiver ChannelsWe fished the last two days out of Lilleys Landing for the Conservation Federation of Missouri. We caught a ton of fish even with the changing weather conditions. There were a lot of nice browns caught on jerkbaits and we also caught a lot of really nice fish drifting a scud and egg pattern. The scuds were tied on a #16 Hayabusa Fly 384 and the eggs were tied on a #14 Fly 374.
