Largemouth were staged shallow around docks and vegetation (reeds and shallow weeds). 6” megabass magdraft freestyles rigged on an 8/0 owner weighted beast hook were good producers. Other baits that were working well: megabass vision 110, bluegill swimjigs with larger paddle tail swimbait trailers, and River-2-Sea S-waver 168 in lite trout. Getting close to structure was crucial, and covering lots of water is key.
