Panfish / BluegillTechniqueIce Fishing JigsSeasonIceStructureSubmerged VegetationGo shallow. Weedlines and flats with cabbage in 4-6 feet of water holding gills and you can even sight fish them with a shack. They are finicky but can be coerced with a small Tungsten and spike or waxie. Get away from the crowds and explore.

Largemouth BassTechniqueTexas Rigs (Pitch/Flip)SeasonSummerStructureLaydownsFound fish both flipping laydowns and casting jig and minnow combos on the steeper ledges. Most of the fish were on the smaller size (<15in) but we did manage to find a couple 3 pounders.

Largemouth BassTechniqueFrogs/ToadsSeasonSummerStructureLily PadsI was catching them pretty consistently just casting up in to the lily pads and retrieving it back to me usually would get hit as the weed line was clearing. Black Booyah Pad Crasher was the key to success!

Largemouth BassTechniqueTexas Rigs (Worming)SeasonSpring (Pre-Spawn)StructureSubmerged VegetationFishing along the shorelines I would cast close to shore and drag the senko to the edge of the weeds right where the transition happened from clean water to submerged vegetation is when I would get bit. I was using a 7’ ML JTX by JT Outdoor Products paired with a Daiwa Tatula light weight and super sensitive was the key to success!
