Labor Day my buddy Matt and I headed out to the lake to do some fishing. I was able to catch 2 small largmouth punching the thick grass with a Tokyo rig with two 1/2 ounce tungsten weights on it paired with a strike king structure bug. I caught one more small bass on a Berkley flatworm drops shotting the grass edges in 15-25 foot.

Went out in the kayaks with my brother to do some fishing. We targeted brush piles vertical jigging ice fishing jigs tipped with soft plastics. We caught a ton of bluegill and a few crappie. A lot of fun!

Got on some large pickerel and a couple bass right before a storm headed in. Action on the Berkeley square bills gets hit everytime. Definitely go with a shallow diving as this lake isn't very deep in some areas
